Comments
- This is the series pilot episode and is filmed in black and white. The camp is referred to as Camp 13 rather than Stalag 13.
- In this episode, Carter is a Lieutenant and is the escaping prisoner brought in to be sent back to England.
- Burkhalter is a Colonel rather than a General and is missing the scar on his cheek.
- This is the only episode in which Sergeant Minsk appears. He is replaced in the later episodes by Carter, who has been demoted to a Sergeant.
